ATV Ride on Stampede Road north of Denali National Park

We took an ATV tour in a 'side-by-side' along Stampede Trail just on the northern end of Denali National Park. You might recognize the name of the road made famous by Christopher McCandless of the "Into the Wild" fame. This is the road where his infamous bus was located.

 The tour also included a campfire lunch where the crew cooked burgers over an open fire for us.

 It was a great ride thru some muddy, rough terrain with some small river crossings.
